I'm Dr. Noemy Loria UGALDE

Hello! I'm Dr. Noemy Loria Ugalde, and today I'm reintroducing myself to those who have recently joined us. I'd also like to share a few things about myself so we can get to know each other better:

1. I graduated with a degree in Dentistry in 2010 from the University of Costa Rica. I initially studied Medicine, but then switched to Dentistry because, although I knew my field was health, I realized that my time management skills, patient care, and personality were more compatible with this career, which has been my passion from the start.

2. I was born in Alajuela, but I've lived in the province of Cartago since I was 9 years old. I'm practically adopted here, and I'm very grateful to this place and its people because it's where I decided to start my own clinic, and he's worked there since 2012.

3. I really enjoy reading a little bit of everything and staying up-to-date in my profession, so I take advantage of continuing education courses. I'm planning to get a master's degree, but I'm already starting the process.

4. I work with a team of colleagues who provide care in different dental specialties, and also with my assistant, Jazmín, who has been with me since we started the clinic, more than 10 years ago.

5. I love going to the beach (that's where I relax when I'm tired). I also like to cook when I have a little time. I'm a mom to a 7-year-old boy, and I have a dog. Between the two of them, they take up most of my free time, but I love spending it with them. Later I'll tell you a little more about myself, and thank you to all the patients who share a bit of their lives with me each day during my appointments. It's a joy to be able to share something beyond the purely professional sphere.
